Training Programs
RCCGNA/Awana Training
T.C.E. Level 1 & Level 2 training.

Training programs are critical for effective teaching and running of your department.

At the National level, training is available every year for all RCCGNA and Canada teachers, Head of department and ministers, to better equip them for the ministry work. This is held every year during the fourth weekend in April. All Children’s teachers are strongly encouraged to attend. For all Zonal Representatives attendance is mandatory.

In addition to the Teachers conference, Awana curriculum training is strongly encourage. In March of 2013, RCCGNA partnered with Awana Ministry to provide help to our churches and parents by helping them work together to develop spiritually strong children and youth who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. The Awana programs offer a proven approach for evangelizing and discipling kids in the church and community. Your church can choose to operate the Awana TruthSeekers Root of faith or the Traditional Awana program base on the size of your church. It is suggested that all of your teachers should attend these and C.E.F. (Child Evangelism Fellowship) as the official course for Children’s Ministry teacher instruction.

Also note that the CEF training is recommended. CEF provides courses in two levels: (Online or through their local chapters) TCE (Teaching Children Effectively) Level 1 and Level 2. Both courses provide accreditation and a certificate is awarded on completion of each course. It is suggested that most if not all of your teachers attend these classes.

The Church you attend should be responsible for all or part of the cost of this training (this will be dependent on availability of funds in the Church). The way you teach your children will change for the better!
